It was around springtime when we received a request from Localers in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, to create an item to commemorate their 10th anniversary. The theme they gave us was "swans."

Apparently, swans come to rest their wings in the Nakatsu River that flows in front of the shop during the winter, and the shopkeepers enjoy watching the swans with their customers during the winter months. The photos I saw showed a pair of swans swimming leisurely, seemingly unconcerned about anything.
